Referred as "Dark" it is not visible in the sky with 0% illumination. Dark Moon is between the Last Waning Crescent and before the New Moon.

The Dark Moon is a time for exploring darkness. Alone Time, Understanding our Anger and Passions. Cast spells for Letting go, Protection, Banishing, Hexes/ Curses, Clearing out the old. Work magick for Prophecy, Communication with Spirits, Shadow Work, Removing fears/ addictions/ bad habits, Releasing grief/ sorrow/ regret/ despair.

New Moon

The start of a new lunar cycle, at this time the Sun and Moon are in conjunction, meaning they are closest together in the sky on the same side of Earth. Not (or barely) visible in the sky.

The New Moon is a time for new beginnings. A fresh start, set goals and intentions for the forthcoming cycle. Time to sit still and plant new seeds of desire. Cast spells for love, romance, health. Work magick for new ventures.

Waxing Crescent

Waxing phase is after New Moon until moment moon is Full. Visibly seen with a thin crescent shape appearing on the right side. The lit area slowly grows each day illuminating more and more of the moons surface.

Waxing Crescent Moon is the time for initiation and enhancement. Anchor your intentions, focus on things you want to bring into existence during this lunar cycle. Practice visualization and affirmations. Write your intentions and read it daily. Manifest as the moon grows. Work your magick for Beginnings, New Projects, Ideas, Inspiration, Energy, Vitality, Freedom, Constructive Magick, Love, Wealth, Success, Courage, Self- Esteem, Friendship, Luck, Health.

First Waxing Quarter Moon

At this time of the moon cycle the Sun and Moon square each other. A square in astrology is when two celestial bodies form a 90- degree angle. 7 days after the New Moon, the First Waxing Quarter is seen as half moon in the sky. The Moon's right side surface is illuminated 50%.

Seen as the half way point, this is the time to step back and look at the challenges you currently face and make decisions about how you wish to proceed. Meditate to see the issues that have arisen since the new moon and adjust your plans. Challenges are our greatest teachers and a necessary part of manifesting, stand for what you believe in  despite the challenges and work productively to grow with the moon.

Waxing Gibbous Moon

Right before the full moon, observable by being mostly illuminated except for a dark sliver.

With high energy momentum during this phase it should start to feel like things are aligning.  Massive action is best to give extra push to the magick you've been working on. Struggling with lack of motivation to finish a project or stick to routine, use this energy of the phase to push you to overcome temptations or resistance.

When Earth is directly between the Sun and Moon there is a strong gravitational pull which can be felt. The Moon is at its peak energy and you'll be able to notice a heightened awareness of feelings, visions and inner thoughts.

The Moon at its most powerful, is prime time for spells and rituals for manifestation, prophecy, protection, divination, psychic development and healing. Our energy and powers are the most strong in the Full Moon. Use this intensity to enhance all magical workings and celebrate fruition.

After the glorious appearance of the Full Moon, the lunar shape begins to wane, meaning it appears to get smaller waning until it reaches its New phase.

In this phase we see half sunlit surface of the Moon visible in early morning and daytime sky.
